Living away from home in my early 20's was difficult at times. Dave was always there with words of support, fatherly advice and most of all, sarcasm. He listened, let me sleep on his sofa (with the dog) and made me feel like I was home. Dave questioned what was happening, held me to account when needed, but was always there with a big hug , which made the distance between me and my dad feel a little less. Dave was a caring, honest, and funny man, and I am grateful for his presence in my life when I most needed it. Rest easy Dave, always remembered. Clare
